June marks the beginning of Colorado’s official Bike To Work Month.  We start a month later than most of the country on account of our high altitude and spring weather, here’s to hoping that front range snowstorms are behind us for now.

The weather is perfect for riding, so start talking it up among your friends and co-workers.  Now is as good a time as any to tune up the two wheeler and start riding to work.

There is one frequent argument I hear for why many people don’t, and that is that they live too far from where they work.  Luckily, gas prices and home prices have flipped to make it more economical to purchase a home close to where you work.  This takes some planning, but if you believe the predictions on peak oil, lifestyle changes will be inevitable… may as well get a jump on it and avoid the bummer life as soon as you can.
