Situated at 2216 Kearney Street, Cake Crumbs Bakery is the perfect location for anyone – especially bikers – with a sweet tooth.
Since opening in 2007, owners Denon and Sean Moore have succeeded in their dream of “owning their own business” and “creating and selling” fun, creative treats. With so many choices, ranging from chocolate cupcakes to lemon bars, it can be tough to make a decision. Well let BikeDenver personally recommend the chocolate chip cookie. But it’s not just our treat of choice, 5280 Magazine voted it Denver’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in 2008. Looking for something more filling than a cookie? You’re in luck. Cake Crumbs also offers a breakfast and lunch menu that’s always expanding.
And since 2010, Cake Crumbs’ creations can be bought all around town thanks to their two cupcake trucks Clyde and Clementine – names chosen in a fan-based contest on Facebook.
Cake Crumbs doesn’t just offer good food, it also offers a green business plan to help the environment. As the 10th restaurant in Denver to be certified by the Denver Pollution Prevention Partners, Cake Crumbs has implemented numerous planet-friendly
initiatives. For instance, they take advantage of composting, recycling, and using less paper products by substituting them for ceramic mugs and plates. They’re also big supporters of biking throughout the community. About half of their employees bike to work and many customers do as well since Cake Crumbs has a wide sidewalk and plenty of bike parking.
So when you want a sweet treat after a day of riding, check out Cake Crumbs Bakery!
