How many hundreds of times have your ridden to or through Denver’s popular Confluence Park area? Ever think about how improvements to the trail and public areas would make this a more pleasant recreational space for everyone? Here’s a great opportunity to get involved on a local level and help Denver Parks and Recreation plan both short and long-term park improvements! YOU”RE INVITED to a public meeting that is part of the planning process to redesign the trail ramps at Shoemaker Plaza and to develop a master plan for the Confluence Park area. Initial planning concepts will be shared at a public meeting on Tuesday evening, August 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the REI Community Room. BikeDenver will be involved in the planning process as a key member of the stakeholders group, but we also need your help to fully represent the interests of people who bike in this area. We’ll see you there!
Help plan a bike-friendly future for Confluence Park by attending the August 21 public meeting!
