A BikeDenver Community Service
We provide bicycle parking for free at a number of Denver community events. This year, we have a number of exciting events we’re scheduled to park bikes for. Interested in helping out? Crack open the old calendar, see when you can spare a 3-4 hour chunk of time and drop us a line.
We park bikes because…
It ecourages people to ride
It brings cyclists together in one place
It’s fun!
Cherry Creek Arts Festival: July 4th, 5th and 6th
Thanks for all your help and patronage at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival!
Urban Assault Race
On July 27th, BikeDenver will need a total of 30 volunteers for the New Belgium Urban Assault Race. The Urban Assault Ride is a funky bike scavenger hunt that involves street-smart riding, obstacle courses, and a huge after party. Mental muscle is just as important as bike skills as teams of 2 choose their own course to checkpoints around the city.
This is our second biggest fundraiser of the year. We need your help. These volunteers must attend a brief meeting on July 24th at 6pm and be available on the event day from 7:30am-2pm for the various checkpoints. Vehicle required, some event items will need to be carried. All volunteers will receive staff clothing. Stay for the party afterwards with free food and drink!
We need 13 more volunteers! Sign up now. If you’ve got access to a car, let us know. We’ll need a few for the day.
Learn more on their official website.
Upcoming Events
We’ll be doing lots of bike parking this summer and fall, so if you can’t make the dates above, contact us and we’ll let you know when we get some more events scheduled.
