A BikeDenver Community Service

We provide bicycle parking for free at a number of Denver community events. This year, we have a number of exciting events we’re scheduled to park bikes for. Interested in helping out? Crack open the old calendar, see when you can spare a 3-4 hour chunk of time and drop us a line.

We park bikes because…

It ecourages people to ride

It brings cyclists together in one place

It’s fun!

See what our volunteers have to say…

A Taste of Colorado, September 4th, 5th, and 6th

“A Taste of Colorado is a community celebration that is produced by and benefits Downtown Denver Events, Inc., the Downtown Denver Partnership family’s community events non-profit organization. The Festival is an opportunity for people throughout the region to come together to experience and appreciate our diverse cultural traditions, and to learn more about our state’s Western heritage.” (from the official site)

All volunteers and managers will get tickets for free food or drink at the festival.

[...] With an estimated 500,000 attending over Labor Day Weekend, A Taste of Colorado is back in 2010 with another impressive array of visual and performing arts, educational programs and culinary treats. BikeDenver provides and operates the festival’s bike parking corral, and we’ve been moved to a new location this year between the Denver Art Museum and the back entrance to the Public Library. Access the corral via 13th street. Leave your car behind and park your bike in our secure corral while you enjoy the festival! Got a few hours to spare? We need to fill 42 volunteer shifts to staff this three-day event. JOIN THE VOLUNTEER TEAM HERE. [...]
