Want to know where we’ll be helping to provide free event bicycle parking?
Our Community Bike Parking Service provides free VIP bicycle parking at Denver events and festivals. We park bikes because providing convenient bike parking encourages more people to ride, brings bicyclists together in one place, and makes bicycles more visible in the community.
In 2012, we’ll help provide convenient bike parking for event-goers on 35 days that will help park more than 12,000 bikes at events with a combined estimated attendance of over 1.6 million. That’s no small feat, and we couldn’t do it without our sponsors and without great people like YOU who lend a few hours to help us staff event bike-parking corrals. So if you’ve got some time to give back, sign up for a shift or two today!

Bike to Work Day represents a grassroots effort by cities, counties, transportation planners, community organizations and others across the state to educate commuters about the benefits of using two wheels to get to work.
In 2012, nearly 4,000 bike lovers gathered at the 4th Annual Cactus Bike From Work Bash on Bike to Work Day to celebrate bike culture and raised over $5,000 for BikeDenver, Denver’s bicycle advocacy organization. Building on the success of last year, Bike From Work Bash will once again be an evening of two-wheeled delight at the Cactus offices at 15th & Little Raven – a perfect stop for commuters. The event will feature beer, food, entertainment and a chance to party with Denver’s diverse bike community while supporting the work of BikeDenver.
The festival is a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts and enjoys an annual attendance of 350,000 visitors. Special exhibits, art and culinary demonstrations, and interactive family activities on “Artivity Avenue” complement the festival experience.
