Yet another example from Portland…Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was in Portland recently for a global warming forum, and the bicycle community was on hand to relate the role of bicycles in meeting environmental challenges. Not only that, but there are economic benefits to bicycling, as well. There are many lessons here for Denver, but it remains to be seen if those lessons will be heeded.
