Author Alan Durning has written an excellent blog series (referenced previously on this site) called Bicycle Neglect, which illustrates the difficulties faced by cyclists in trying to create a more bike-friendly world. In his latest installment, Durning defines Bicycle Neglect, and I see our fair city leaping off the page in those words. Unfortunately, the author doesn’t offer up any suggestions for successfully tackling the issue (at least not in this particular post). Still, it’s important to define the ailment in order to begin administering treatment.
