The Front Rangers Bicycle Club is hosting the Junior Criterium State Championships on August 3rd in Denver’s own Golden Triangle. If you have ever needed motivation to get out riding harder and more often, you should absolutely attend this event, because I can guarantee that the teenagers racing for the state championship will be riding far faster than you can, lets just hope we can still beat the ten year old age group =)
The Front Rangers are looking for volunteer Course Marshalls for this Criterium. The start/finish line is at 9th and Bannock Street, just north of Denver Health. There will be racing from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm with eleven corners that have to be protected by course marshals. They offer an orange vest, a two way radio, a free lunch, and an opportunity to watch one of the premier Denver bicycle races up close and personal.
Interested volunteers should contact David Stevens at dstevens26@gmail.com or (303 475-0980) for a shift assignment.
