Spring Training for Bike Commuters! Classes offered May 3 and 4.
Posted by Piep under News[3] Comments
Get the skills and tips that’ll make it an easy choice to ride your bike for transportation more often this year! Our 2.5 hour bike commuter class includes an hour of on-bike instruction. Learn exciting maneuvers like “rock dodge” and “emergency stop” and take a final, fun road ride test! You’ll learn how to plan your route, prepare your bike and yourself for riding on roadways, and discover how easy it is to reach for the handlebars instead of the car keys for that next short trip in the city!
Sign up for one of two classes offered at the REI Flagship store in Denver (1416 Platte Street) on Tuesday May 3, or Wednesday May 4. Cost for the class is $25.00. Class size is limited to 20 to ensure a small instructor to student ratio. Please bring your own bicycle and don’t forget your helmet! The class begins at 5:30pm and ends at 8:00pm.
BikeDenver is Denver’s bicycle advocacy organization. We’re working to make Denver a better place to ride a bike.
