We’ve got a big weekend of events coming up, so plan your route and hydration plan accordingly:

This Saturday and Sunday, in Sloan’s Lake Park, we’re parking bikes at the annual Dragon Boat festival. For the guys rowing these boats, this is a serious racing league, and many of the boats come from across the nation to race here.  This is especially convenient for all the Denver, Lakewood and Wheat Ridge residents living in close proximity.  Ride your bike over, beat the traffic, and hey!, we’ll park it for you.

Sunday morning is the New Belgium Urban Assault race.  Entries are already filled up, but that doesn’t mean you can’t observe the chaos and bikerifficness.  Last year I won a helmet in some parking lot sprints after the main event, so be ready to put the hammer down if you are racing, you’ll be richly rewarded for your labors.

And to wind things down, as always, we’ll be in city park with a bike corral already set up to welcome your bike while you enjoy City Park Jazz.  There’s no better way to wind down a weekend, so ride on over and join us for the fun.

See you out riding.
